Amy McDonald is a young freelance travel writer who at the tender age of 20, is quickly making a big splash in the world of content creation. Amy brings a fun, quirky and humorous tone to the blogs she writes, making them quite the joy to read.
Amy comes from the Mornington Peninsula in Australia, soon to move to the UK and blog her 2020 adventures.
Her favourite place in the world is Cancun in Mexico. Amy's top travel tip is to be open-minded, to step out of your comfort zone, as it will always lead to new friendships and unforgettable memories.



Bety Tellez is a freelance travel writer/hospo extraordinaire residing in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Bety is deeply passionate about all the good things: people, writing, history, travel and political affairs. She has been able to grow her writing skills by taking many awesome opportunities around the world including working for Edinburgh News and Ireland Today.

Her favourite place in the world is Rome for the food and lively summers.
 Bety's top travel tip is to learn a bit about the culture you're visiting before going, so that you can be prepared and be as respectful as possible. Also, to learn at least 10 key phrases and greetings to make your travels easier and a lot more fun.


Sarah was always destined for wanderlust, influenced by immigrant parents with many tales of abroad. Now a seasoned traveller for business and leisure, Sarah's job as a freelancer permits her the flexibility and freedom to travel at will. Today, she shares her time between her business-base of Melbourne and the island of Borneo, with frequent travel through South East Asia and back to the UK as often as possible. Find her in the lounge in heels, checking emails and sipping champagne. 

Sarah's favourite place is Paris closely followed by NYC. 

Her top travel tip: "Stay hydrated and moisturised when flying to hit the ground running; apply good quality face and body cream throughout long hauls and take a good multivitamin for improved immunity. 



Sami Swadling is a freelance travel writer and arts performer from Canada. Sami has spent the better part of 4 years travelling and living in Scotland.
Her favourite place is Edinburgh for the spooky graveyards, the hidden coffee shops, and the characterful pubs and bars that take over the city.
Her top travel tip is to have unplanned days, as they are great days to take it easy and see what can surprise you.


Sharon Green is a journalist, copywriter and editor who has worked in mainstream media in Australia and the United Kingdom. She is also the founding editor of women's lifestyle publication SHE DEFINED.

Her favourite city in the world is London, which will always have a piece of her heart. Sharon’s top travel tip is to travel solo – some of her best adventures have come from exploring the world on her own.
